My Journey with Sugar:

As a child I was rewarded with sugary treats for something good, when I was hurt, for celebrations and well because it was good. Growing up we had dessert after every meal. I thought that was normal.

Hi there, I’m Shelly Heinrichs, a Certified Holistic Nutrition and Health Coach who helps women get off the diet roller coaster, balance their blood sugars so they can finally lose weight once and for all! I used to work long, hard hours, thinking I can do self-care later, I’d sleep after the rush and so on. When I did crash, I was diagnosed with high blood pressure, pre-diabetic, NAFLD, PCOS along with a bunch of aches and pains.
