Hi there, I’m Shelly Heinrichs, a Certified Holistic Nutrition and Health Coach who helps women get off the diet roller coaster, balance their blood sugars so they can finally lose weight once and for all! Yes, intermittent fasting can be safe and effective for women in or entering mid-life, In fact, many women in this age group have found IF to be a valuable tool in their health and wellness journey. Before starting, I recommend consulting with a healthcare provider, especially if you have pre-existing medical conditions or take medications.

During the initial phases, you may experience periods of hunger, especially if your body is accustomed to regular snacking.
